We kept our light under a bushel for a while (need to check if that’s the right saying). Anyway, we’re back and we’re going to be putting all kinds of useless, ahem, useful information on Flickr and Facebook to gorge on when you’re meant to be working, even though people keep going on about dotcom bubbles and Facebook exploding…we’ve always been late.
Now that we’ve cracked the bulk offering, we are working on adding a couple of more contemporary garments to the mix. In addition to be being really exciting items to sell for customisation, the 100% Tencel Lyocell Fine Jersey and 100% Combed Cotton Fine Vest are both Fair Wear Foundation audited.
The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) exists to promote fair labour conditions in the garment industry worldwide. The manufacturer of these products has undersigned the FWF’s Code of Labour practices, and thereby has committed to monitor the factories of suppliers, and the Fair Wear Foundation verifies that the Code of Labour Practices is implemented and respected at the factories.
TGraffi have launched a high quality production service for event organisers and budding fashion designers. TGraffi bulk allows you to choose from an increasing range of garments and create large volumes to give away or sell.
The difference of this service vs other on and offline services is that we have no minimum order, and we have an obsessive attention to detail to make sure the output is outstanding. This might mean one of the print team will email our customers to help get the best out of the print.
That human attention to detail, combined with our increasing stock range, makes us a great choice to print your tees – regardless of how you want to use them.
That’s the size we regard now as optimum for TGraffi TShirt artwork. Ideally your canvas should take this into account – with a max printable area of 14 inches wide by 16 inches high. As always, your resolution should be as high as possible to get the best out of the prints.
We thought it might be a good idea to show some pictures of the production process in action rather than leave the idea of this being an invisible activity.
As you can see from the shot above, we are producing the tees on a few of the fantastic Brother GT-782 printers. If you’re a print geek, you can find more about these by visiting the brother site.
Basically, we take your image which is pre positioned as per your requirements, then store it on the Brother printer. After a simple stock pick and prep, the print process then begins – where as you can see above – the printer handles two garments at a time.
This isn’t an especially lengthy process, and the production side can be completed in a matter of minutes.
Once the garment print is finished, it’s a simple case of drying and checking the quality of the TShirt or whatever you have picked and preparing it for the courier to deliver nice and shiny new to your home or place of business.
We’ll be allowing sales without registration pretty soon and thought we’d give you a heads up.
After next week, you’ll be able to create a TShirt with TGraffi and then go straight to payment, bypassing the usual account creation process.
The downside is that you won’t be able to retrieve your details at a later date – but you will make quick progress when buying your designs.
