The better the quality and sharpness your photograph, image or artwork looks, the better your TGraffi prints will be. Creating great products on TGraffi is easy, but the attention is in the detail so please take some time to check what you send us.

Image Type – Our Recomendation is PNG & JPEG Files

Our printing process supports images in both PNG (Portable Network Graphics) & JPEG formats. Both formats will reproduce excellent quality products as long as the resolution meets or our recommendations. PNG, GIF and TIFF images are also supported. The attention is in the detail…so make sure the quality of your image is good. We recommend using an RGB colour profile for images, this will produce the best results, however we can also support CMYK based.

At this time we do not support Adobe Illustrator, BMP or EPS files, primarily due to their size when sending via the internet.

Tip! If you are in any doubt print your image as close to the full size needed on your t/shirt from your own computer, this will give you a good indication of the quality and resolution and how the image will look when printed.

Image size and resolution

Please ensure your images are a workable size and resolution. As a guide higher resolutions give the best results.

We require 150 dpi minimum or 300 dpi optimum. For best results supply in RGB colour profile, however we can also support CMYK based images.

Maximum print size 10.5 wide x 17 tall inches max.
1800 x 2100 pixels. (guide size)

Chest/Back Print 12 x 14 inches. Minimum 150 dpi. 1800 x 2100 pixels.
Pocket Print 4 x 4 inches Minimum 150 dpi. 600 x 600 pixels

White Garments

Reproducing your images on white garments does not present any problems we can overcome any minor adjustments with our digital software providing images meet the minimum DPI requirements.

JPEG Images

For dark apparel, JPEG images cannot be supported. JPEG images, by default generally have white background areas. The background area is like having the image on a white sheet of paper and we need to lift the image from that state, as we do not want that background printed.

Coloured Garments

Please try and provide your image as you wish it to appear on your t/shirt. If you are printing your image on mid range and dark colour shirts, consider the areas where you need white showing and the areas where you require the shirt to show through. Most photographic and graphics programmes (Adobe Photoshop/Coral Draw) can support your images and will allow you to add a transparent background. When designing for dark apparel, you need to ensure which parts of your image should be transparent, and which parts should actually be printed as white. If you can, use PNG files for dark shirts.

PNG IMAGES – Recommended on Dark Shirts

On dark shirts specifically, we recommend using PNG images with a 100% transparent background. The background areas made transparent will be ink free and the colour of the shirt will show through, and all other colors including any chosen white aspects of your design will be printed as per the image. Note: Partial transparency is not supported, if an area is not fully transparent, it will be print as opaque. J-Pegs cannot be supported on dark shirts.
